Natural Face Of The Day

April 6, 2015

Happy Easter Everyone!

…….I scheduled this post to go online on Saturday because I knew that I wouldn’t have any time to post anything; I was extremely busy the whole week with working, meeting friends who were in town for only 1-2 days and so on. BUT BLOGGER DIDN’T POST IT!!
((╬ಠิ﹏ಠิ)) Thanks Blogger. All my preparation was in vain.
Just a real quick post today because I almost never post about the minimal looks that I often do when I’m too tired for a full face make-up routine but still have to look like a decent human being. So I thought I’d share what products I use for those lazy days (getting more the older I get… COUGH COUGH.) There are some things that I just use, no matter how lazy I am – what are your go-to products that never fail you? 🙂

Natural Face of the Day – Product List

1   (Although disguised in an IOPE cushion case:) Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion in #13. I love the IOPE a lot more but it seems as if it’s heavily clogging my pores so I’m not using it anymore for now 🙁
2   Luna Long Lasting Tip Concealer – this stuff is still sooooo good. I will probably buy 3 or so from Korea although shipping is so expensive – I cannot live without this. Ever.
3   Sleek Au Naturel Palette – although my review hasn’t been that good on that one, I use it a lot. Mainly, because I don’t own a better alternative. I definitely need a palette with similar matte colors but better color payoff. Use the first two colors and the third color from left second row almost daily for a soft grey smokey eye.
4   MAC Eyebrow Pencil in „Brunette“ – When I bought this, I didn’t really like it. It was too dark, didn’t apply as I likedm kind of hard texture… I’ve grown to really like it though. After some days of warming up, we’re getting along really well and the color is actually a slighlty more reddish version of my natural eyebrow/hair color.
5   Make Up For Ever HD High Definition Powder – My awesome friend Filo got me this in our very first beauty swap – and I’ve been using it every single day since then! I thought it would run out pretty quickly but after a whole month, it still looks perfectly the same. Makes my make-up last without making it too matte! Thanks girl! <3
6   Maybelline Colossal Volum‘ Waterproof – hands down, my favorite mascara for ten years now. It was actually the first one my mom ever bought me and every other one I tried has sucked compared to this. Makes my lashes super black, voluminous and stays put all day long.
7   Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler – bought out of curiosity while living in Japan when I heard this is supposed to be the *best* eyelash curler in the world. Japan didn’t lie, this is amazing stuff. I got one for my mom too and now she also religiously uses only this one. It’s hard to explain but you  need so little pressure with this one and it just makes the perfect curl, not too harsh and also not too low. Love it, will repurchase whenever I return to Japan 🙂
Have you tried any of my personal favorites? Which products could you never leave the house without? (Is that a correct English sentence. It’s so late and I should probably go to bed.) Hope you enjoyed this little update! 🙂 Have a happy Easter time! (although, thanks to Blogger, it’s almost over u_u)
Have a good night & lots of love!

Sam
